For Couples
In this guide we’ll give you our short hand for our favorite venues.
These places were chosen on a basis on how much we love them for their photo opportunities. From a photography perspective there are some venues that really made for some beautiful images for our couples.
Why create this list in the first place? Couples that appreciate photography the way we do, have been asking us this question. And this perspective from our couples is quite new and we’re more than willing to oblige to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for your wedding day.
We’ve shot at all of the venues listed and if they are not shown, it is because those couple respectively declined to be featured.
Rancho Las Lomas
A unique venue with a place for ceremony and reception. It actually doubles as a zoo of sorts with zebras, tigers and more. It’s a bit of a walk to get from one place to another, but it’s got a Spanish estate feel and is wonderfully landscaped with greenery tile.

This place feels very urban hipster that is best for intimate style weddings. Parking can be a pain, but the photo opts are endless. A tight place for getting ready photos, and since it’s small it will take some coordination to not see each other before the ceremony. Grooms often get ready off-site.

Casa Romantica
If you’re looking to go a little south of Orange County into the famous string of Spanish colonial buildings then Casa Romantica is a great spot overlooking the ocean on a bluff. It’s a combination of indoor and outdoor feel for your ceremony and reception. It’s more on the smaller side for guest counts, but not terribly.

The Villa in San Juan Capistrano
Another rustic, Spanish venue hits our list for a intimate feeling space. It’s right of the road, but you don’t realize it once the huge wooden gates close. The place is great for that editorial look as the little rooms that line the ceremony area are filled with the greatest adornments.

Seven Degrees
We been here so many times. And we love it every time. It’s two stories of ceremony on top and reception on bottom. The reception area almost feels like a club and can hold many guests. In fact, if you don’t have a larger guest list, it’ll feel shorthanded. Otherwise you could use the room for the dance floor.

– Club-like reception area, great light system
– Parking is a little tight
– Contemporary feel
Location: Laguna Beach, CA
