For Couples
Having a backyard wedding in an elegant home is my fantasy. It’s probably why I started balling putting these images together.
Having a wedding at home means everyone can stay as long as they want and you’re surrounded by the furniture you grew up around and the roof that’s sheltered your family. It’s such an intimate and heartfelt way to celebrate a new addition of new family members.
As [our day] gets closer I can’t help but put myself in Kate’s shoes. I can’t wait to take silly selfies with my mom and sister. I can’t wait to crack inside jokes with my cousins who are more like my siblings. I can’t wait to call him husband.
In the house of Peter’s Parents
June gloom actually played up the shots for us in San Juan Capistrano for today’s festivities and only provided the best light for such an event. While the strings played and the flowers glistened, Kate and Peter wed in the backyard of a beautifully decorated space.
Wonderfully, the ceremony was ‘unplugged’ and encouraged guests to “capture the moment with their hearts”. I just might have to steal this line.
