Adrian and Ilyssa’s love story began at a youth group camp in high school, where they started as friends but quickly blossomed into high school sweetheart love during their Senior Year. Fast forward to their wedding day at Carlsbad Windmill by Wedgewood Weddings, and it was nothing short of a beautiful celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Adrian fondly reflects, “Ilyssa brings out the best in me, especially when I’m in the worst positions. She is patient, teaching me how to love others and myself, and to give myself grace. She balances me out. And, let’s be honest, it helps that she has a nice body ;)”

Ilyssa reciprocates the love, expressing, “I love that he lets me be me – encourages me to be the best version of myself and loves me through it all, even when I take him outside of his comfort zone. He balances me out! He’s my biggest cheerleader and believes in me when I don’t believe in myself.”

Their special day was filled with the personal touch of the bride’s mother, who took on the role of creating all the floral arrangements for the occasion. The venue, Carlsbad Windmill, provided a picturesque backdrop for their love-filled day.
