Today we feature our couple Sammi and Will who you’ll remember from one of our many engagement sessions in NorCal in 2015. Now we find them married at the incredible space of CornerStone Sonoma, CA. But this love story actually starts in SoCal…
Meet Sammi and Will
Over a drink at a mutual friend’s party in LA. Among their loves: Huntington Beach and Disneyland. Over the years, and graduate degrees, Will finally moved to Sammi’s hometown of SF and started their live-in relationship. During a trip to Hawaii, Will surprised Sammi with an engagement ring. Now you see their wedding with their friends, family and us!
Some highlights:
The tented reception space: this is great for outdoor receptions because the light can bounce off the tented roof and produce a great ambient light. Without some sort of wall or roof, light is lost to the open air and it’s harder to get the best shots with out some crazy external light source.
Sammi’s shoes: Finally something sexy, but elegant. The peekaboo toes through the sheen fabric is definitely something unique.
Color Palette: Cool, a lot of grays, blues, slates, grays, and eucalyptus
CornerStone Event Space: this place has alot of random areas for great photo opts. From desertscape to cattails to uplight modern walls.
