It was an honor to document the breathtaking wedding of Kim and Ky at the exquisite Venue by Three Petals. This celebration carried a deeply personal significance for our photo team, as we were delighted to welcome back familiar faces—Kim is the beloved sister of a previous couple—making the day feel like a joyful reunion celebrating their next chapters. The love and support pouring from their family and friends created a beautiful flow of emotion, generating epic candid moments that ranged from tearful embraces to grand gestures and infectious laughter.
Their reception space was the epitome of romantic elegance, a true realization of their vision: an elegant pastel garden. Sophisticated verdant olive greens provided a foundation for delicate baby hues of pink, blue, and orange, all pulled together by the intimate glow of countless candles and the brilliant sparkle of sparklers. The unwavering and contagious energy of the newlyweds was constant, a radiant testament to the depth of their commitment.
Kim and Ky’s story began years ago at Vietnamese Church Scouts, evolving through shared years at the same high school and college, where they often found themselves seated side-by-side. It was in college that their friendship blossomed into a beautiful romance. Kim shared that she loves Ky because “he is my home and makes me feel the happiest and safest when we’re together. Ky is a true provider and makes me laugh more than anyone else, loving and accepting me for who I am.” Ky feels equally cherished, noting he loves Kim because “she cares so much about me and everyone else important in my life. She understands me so well, is very selfless, and laughs at all of my jokes—I can truly be myself around her!” Their wedding day was a magnificent reflection of this profound and perfect partnership.
