Chealsy and Ryan have been together for 8 years, and last year, they finally got engaged. For their engagement session, they wanted to capture a “Let’s Party” vibe with a modern and chic feel, and what better location than the DTLA Studio Arts District?
We started the shoot with the sun pooling into a clean white backdrop where we could begin with formal looks and a touch of getting ready for final details. We then moved on to rich turquoise mural backdrop, where Chealsy and Ryan showed off their playful and fun-loving personalities.
With some final details to bring the session to a close they brought a cake, Veuve Clicquot, bouquet, and confetti poppers. The showers of gold and pearl white from the confetti created that climatic moment like counting down to the moment of when they could say “I Do”.
Their engagement session in the DTLA Studio Arts District was a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: modern, chic, and ready to have a good time. We can’t wait to see how they incorporate their personalities into their wedding celebration!
