A Modern Korean Wedding at Newport Hyatt Hotel with Vania and Eddy

This week we’re featuring Vania and Eddy’s wedding at the Newport Hyatt for a modern take on the traditional Korean weddings we’ve seen in the past. A big thank you goes out to Michelle from Mele Amore Events for referring us to this happy couple.

Alright, now I’ll let our wonderful couple take the wheel to introduce you to their love story with this cute little lighting round of questions that they created so you can get to know them:

Q.Who made the first move? How?

He made the first move when he Facebook chatted me in response to a status post I had put up. One chat led to the next and the rest is history!

Q.Who’s going to take out the trash?

Whoever happens to be closer to the trash 🙂

Q.What was your most memorable date?

Our first memorable date was going to an independent film festival in downtown LA thrown by our friend Johnny. It was our first unofficial date with no known declarations of love, and it was really sweet.

Q.What’s your favorite activity together?

Cooking together is our favorite followed by kayaking haha.

Q.Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Anywhere with beautiful beaches! The possibilities are endless.

Q.What’s the best meal you have eaten together?

Too many to count. One stand out meal was at a birthday dinner for Eddy at a Scandinavian restaurant hidden on the bottom floor of a hotel, in San Francisco.

Q.What’s the most memorable trip you have taken together?

Two years ago we went on a cruise to Europe with Vania’s parents. Our favorite place was Cannes, France and looking out into the Cote de Azur. The water is gorgeous there!

Q.What nicknames do you have for each other?

We’ll give you a hint, one is related to a type of reptile and the other is related to a type of baked good.
