The key to a memorable engagement session is combining a high-fashion backdrop with personal sentiment. Juli and Paul accomplished exactly that by splitting their photoshoot between the historic elegance of Beverly Hills and the colorful streets of Downtown Los Angeles.
Step 1: High-Fashion Architecture at Greystone Mansion
We started the day capturing editorial Greystone Mansion engagement photos. Perched in the Beverly Hills slopes, this 1920s Tudor Revival estate features manicured formal gardens, limestone balustrades, and quiet courtyards. The estate’s grand stone staircases and dramatic light gave Juli and Paul the polished, high-fashion aesthetic they wanted. Their natural chemistry made every pose look effortless.
Step 2: Reliving Their First Date in the DTLA Arts District
After wrapping up at the mansion, we headed east to the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. This neighborhood holds a special place in their story—it’s where they had their very first date.
We retraced their exact first-date steps, hopping between favorite local spots, historic brick alleyways, and vibrant street murals. Switching from classic formalwear to casual attire allowed their candid expressions and playful connection to shine.
