Ben and Sarina at The Colony House Anaheim

For Ben and Sarina, their wedding was a celebration of texture and style. They chose The Colony House in Anaheim, an eclectic venue that seamlessly blends its industrial roots with warm craftsman architecture. It’s a favorite for Orange County couples who want a space that feels both historic and high-fashion.

Anaheim’s Hidden Architectural Gem

The Colony House is famous for its versatility. Managed by the renowned 24 Carrots Catering, the space provides a luxury experience in a “bespoke” setting. Specifically, the venue features:

  • The Great Hall: A stunning room with original bow truss ceilings, whitewashed brick, and an elevated stage.
  • The Pavilion: An outdoor oasis featuring a massive living wall of succulents and a cozy fireplace.
  • The Loft: A light-filled second story with wall-to-wall windows overlooking the main ballroom.

A Seamless City Celebration

First, the couple shared their “I dos” in the Great Hall, where the reclaimed wood accents created a warm, intimate atmosphere. Afterward, guests moved to the Pavilion for cocktails under the open-air roof. Because the venue is situated in the heart of Anaheim’s historic district, we were able to capture editorial portraits that utilized the urban landscape and the venue’s artistic finishes.

Finally, the night ended with a high-energy reception under the filament lighting. Ben and Sarina’s day at The Colony House was a flawless example of how to make a large space feel deeply personal and incredibly chic.
