Styled Winter Reception at The Colony with Rock N’ Events

We had the amazing opportunity to work with Rock N’ Events for a stylized shoot to inspire a cozy Winter/ Fall theme for this season.

We arrived at The Colony on an overcast weekday to a very excited team of women and two bunnies. The whole Kevin Le Vu Photography team came out to capture some footage and great images for the look.

As photographers we always get to experience the hustle of the designers, the florists, the food, the lighting, etc. is all arranged by tireless and meticulous professionals. Today was a little different in that we had so much control.

While this wasn’t a real event, this is what Rock N’ Events calls “just getting started”. Which is the whole point of these styled shoots. They allow you to really imagine and flex your ideas on what can be done. Being that we shoot so many weddings it’s great to see experimental ideas come to fruition.

We had a great time working with a great time and are again reminded of the bigger picture that comes together because everyone has an essential role in the back end of creating these beautiful, once in a lifetime events.
